Just logged back on to see the update...really sad to here about people pushing. neutral You know they aren't proper Prince fans to, otherwise they'd have got themselves in line earlier in the day like our fellow Orgers have. Really hope all the gang that have been in line all day get in...and Prince's management take note!!

Are you in? My brother's been in the line since 1.30 and I still don't know if he's in or not yet. By rights he should be as there were only a few hundred before him in the line when he got there. However, the selfish push-ins might have put paid to that.

Those poor people who have been there all day in this weather !

I am not on twitter but someone should tweet Kiran Sharma about it.

Would be a waste of time. Organisation clearly isn't her stong point. If it wasshe was have made sure fans were aware what was happening and when so fans could make informed decisions.

She also would have sorted out hot drinks and unbrellas for the fans who've been queing all day instead of leaving it to Zoopla!

Terrible oragnisation and no way to treat fans.

I'll wait for something that's been properly oragised or go without.

Isn't there a very quick solution, those with zoopla umbrellas get in?
It proves they were there hours ago. Obviously that would depend on whether they gave 1 to each and everyone.

Hope tony gets in. I'd push them back for him!

For those having trouble in the queue @TeleMusicNews have tweeted a few times asking for updates of how the queue is going and if people got in. May be worth updating them. A bit of negative publicity might encourage better organisation for upcoming gigs.

So, do we know if and how much the Electric Ballroom has charged for those in so far? Free? £6? £10? £20? More?

Ok my brother has been in line since 1.30, there were only a few hundred in front of him when he arrived. Others have been joining the queue in front of him for about the last hour or so. When the doors opened there was a massive rush. No crowd control at all. He got caught in a bottle neck for about 15 minutes. He just called me and said he's now in a small cordoned off area about 15 feet from the entrance. I told him to call me when he's in. I'm still waiting!

I actually think in theory this is the best way to do things.. If you want to see the gig you have to queue..However there has to be a system where raffle tickets or similar are given out.. I seem to remember on the ONA tour an enterprising fan did this and it all worked out for people.. I'm hopeful of an online sale at some point but do think tickets will inevitably fall in the hands of the touts..

Thanks Shane. Tony said thanks for your support. He's still not in yet but close now. He got caught in a bottle neck for 15 minutes after a massive surge when the doors opened. People pushing in all over the place. Very poor organisation it would seem. Hope the powers that be learn something from this fiasco. He said he thinks he's going to get in but I said to call me when he's in so I know he's in. So, anybody who got there after 1.30 and are safely inside, shame on you! He said he'll be in touch with you directly x

Named and shamed! These people clearly do not have consideration for those who have braved the elements all day. Do they not realise that every single one person who does not join the queue at the end of it, they are pushing every single person behind them even further back. Selfish beyond words.

Helen Curl....they spelt her surname half right....

Has Tony got in yet? Can't believe he won't get in if he got there at 1.30...it will be a PR disaster if fans that have been waiting that long don't get, and Prince can forget about the rest of this tour if its the case...his fans wouldn't touch this sort of thing with a barge pole!

It's really bad over there Dave. I spoke to him 15 minutes ago and he said he was about 15 feet from the entrance and was confident he'd get in from there. I told him to call me when he's in. Still waiting. If he doesn't get in, that's so out of order. He's been there since 1.30 and there were only a few hundred in front of him when he got there so if he doesn't get in, something is very wrong somewhere. Very bad organisation. I'm so glad I didn't go. I think I might have punched somebody by now.

That's another reason why I didn't make the 2 hr journey there to stand in line all day. I'd be alone there with the pushing, shoving and fighting. No idea what time it finishes? Whether I can get home or not? Qhether I need a place to stay? Wondering the streets at who knows what time of night, on my own, no tubes. Too risky for my liking. It's supposed to be about having a good time and unfortunately there are just too many things that could make for a bad experience.

I will wait for friends to be free, a couple of days of work, take food/clothes.

SO thrilled for the people who got in.

So now what's crossing my mind, is that people got there at 12 today because they thought something was happening at 2. But actually it was doors at 7.

So will everyone be thinking they'll need to get there for 12 at any other dates now?!

If that makes any sense... eek

Tony has got alot more patience than me, I'd have laid someone out if they'd have shoved in front of me at this point after waiting that long. Its a shame, as its the sort of thing that can sour the memory of a good night. I remember Tony telling me about going to see Madonna's Girlie Show tour at Wembley stadium in '93...said it was the worst experience ever for people pushing and shoving. I thought we would have moved on since then, but clearly not...
